Peter Gosnell lived has lived most of his life in Southern Africa, including many years in Big Bend, Swaziland. It was during this period in the Swaziland lowveld that he conducted his extensive research on the area and its history, and wrote this book. He now lives in Durban, with his wife Bernadett and their two young daughters, Agnes Helena and Bella Maria.
